The IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer gets a salary during the training period is just start from day one of joining at LBSAA. As you all know at the training level the salary includes all the basic things which a person gets after proper placement.

The salary includes basic pay, dearness allowance, transport allowance and DA on transport allowance. And IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer will have basic salary without grade pay

The matter any group A service will be Rs. 56,100/- after the implementation of the 7th  pay commission.

BASIS ON WHICH IAS SALARY CALCULATEDAMOUNT
Grade Pay and Pay level Matrix and Basic pay The pay level matrix of IAS is 7th pay which falls under 10 level with is equal to Rs. 21,000/- with the grade pay of Rs. 5,400/- in addition to 4% Dearness Allowance. After that the level of basic pay which is Rs. 56,100/-
Amount of Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance plus Dearness Allowance on Transport Allowance Dearness Allowance amounts to rupees 3,366/- which is 6% of the total. The transport Allowance having the number of Rs. 7,200/-. The amount of House Rent Allowance given to the employee is Rs. 13,464/-. Lastly, the amount of Dearness Allowance on transport allowance is carrying Rs. 432/-
In-Hand Salary with Deduction These are basic deduction which is present in every sector of government jobs. National Pension System = 10% of basic salary Rs. 5610/- Central Government Employees Group Insurance Scheme = Rs. 120/- Beneficiaries of the Central Government Health Scheme = Rs. 325/-Income Tax = Rs. 4,000- Rs. 5,000/- the income tax deduction is based upon your level of payment. The total amount of salary in hand is Rs. 55,000/-
House Rent Allowance When we talk about House Rent Allowance of IAS then generally it is not paid to IAS. But while removing the part of House Rent Allowance then the gross salary will be Rs. 67,098/-
Summarize of the above calculation The basic formula is equal to Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance + Transport Allowance – Deduction Now put this formula into numerical form then is it like this Rs. 5,600 + Rs. 3,300 + Rs. 7,200 + Rs. 5,600 – Rs. 435 – Rs. 4000 = Rs. 55,000/-
